m/s Teaterskeppet was built 1959 in Portugal, and delivered with the name "Vàgbingur" (”Wave boy” in Faroese) to the village Vági on the Faroe Islands. For twenty years, the boat was used as a fishing trawler. Before being re-built and used for more commercial purposes, the ship was used by the Norwegian coast guard, served as a hostel in Gothenburg, and as a charter in Stockholm. Now, it gives us the opportunity to enjoy concerts and seminars in its historic atmosphere. To read more about the history of Teaterskeppet, visit its webpage www.teaterskeppet.se/historik.
The location is adjusted so everyone can access, including spaces for wheelchairs.
